Industry Visit-Rubber King Tyre Private Limited

The Department of Rubber Technology, L.D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad organized an Industrial Visit and Expert Lecture for B.E. Semester 5 and 7 students on 6th September 2025 (Saturday) at Rubber King Tyre Pvt. Ltd., Unit IV, Virangam (Ahmedabad).

• Rubber King is a reputed manufacturer specializing in Industrial, Farm, and OTR Tyres, providing valuable insights into modern tyre technology and production processes.

• During the visit, students had the opportunity to:

  • Gain practical exposure to manufacturing processes of Industrial, Agricultural, and OTR tyres.

  • Understand the role of compounding, mixing, building, curing, and quality control in tyre production.

  • Interact with industry experts through a dedicated Expert Lecture session, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industrial practices.

This industrial exposure enriched the students’ understanding of real-world applications of rubber technology and enhanced their technical knowledge, industrial awareness, and career orientation.
