WORKING PRINCIPLE

• Planetary Mixers are a special type of mixers having their beaters moving (like planets around the sun) with two motions revolutionary and rotational - both opposite in direction to each other. They mix the particles of the materials without giving them circular or centrifugal motion. They mix the materials at surprisingly low speed and in short time without generating the slightest amount of heat. That is why they are used to mix normally difficult materials like air with liquid (Foaming), oily liquids with non-oily (Emulsifying), liquid or paste with powder (Kneading), powder with powder or granule (Mixing), Different types of beaters are, attached for different functions.

• Panel board consists of phase indicators, ammeter, volt-meter, rotary switch and starter. The whole machine is self-supported and normally no bolting with foundation is required.

APPLICATIONS

• By judicious choice of beaters, these mixers are used in industries like foam rubber, textile printing and finishing, pharmaceuticals, food, bakery confectionery, cosmetics, pesticides and insecticide formulations, colour pigments, adhesives, resins, etc.
